"Rates went up at the worst time"
The service itself has been fine, so I can’t really complain there, but the fees and rate increases are getting frustrating. It feels like they always happen at the worst possible time, right when I’m trying to keep my bills under control. My bill has been a lot more annoying to deal with lately.
"Customer service felt hit or miss"
I had to reach out to Georgia Power about a billing question, and the first response made it feel like nobody actually read my message. It took a while to get a reply, and when they did respond, it didn’t really answer what I was asking. The second person I talked to was more helpful and got things sorted out, so it wasn’t a terrible experience overall. I just wish they had been quicker and clearer from the start.

"Power was back on sooner than I thought"
The crew showed up quickly, maybe within a short time of me noticing the issue, and got things handled faster than I expected. Really appreciate it, guys
"Works fine, but the app can be frustrating"
The website works okay for me, but the app gets a little clunky sometimes. It has frozen on me a few times when I was trying to pay my bill, which is annoying. Has anyone else had this happen?

"Steady service, with a little storm stress"
My power has been dependable overall. Most days I don’t even think about it, which is exactly what I want. When a bad storm rolls in I do get a little anxious, but the updates are usually easy to find and, to my surprise, the power tends to come back faster than I expect. So yeah, no major complaints from me.

"Setting up my account felt way harder than it needed to be"
Setting up my account was way more of a headache than I expected. I thought it would be a quick few minutes, but the service transfer part totally threw me off, and the website kept sending me right back to the same page like some kind of endless loop. I was getting so frustrated I wanted to scream at my laptop. I did finally get everything done, but then I still had to call anyway, which kind of defeated the whole point. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but wow, it was annoying.

"They kind of took away my excuse..."
They kind of took away my excuse for forgetting to pay. There are a bunch of payment options, so I can just pick whatever’s easiest and get it done quickly.
